- Batch image processing - focused on simplicity and flexibility.
- Photo retouching - using advanced cloning, healing or red eyes removal tools.
- Computer graphic designing - flexible tools and filters and layers with effects.
The application supports lossless and partially lossless .jpg manipulations and it can be also used as a general purpose raster image editor.

Getting more help
The crucial pieces of information are available directly in RealWorld Photos user interface:
- Read the tooltips and/or descriptions in application status bar (the line at the bottom of each window) to learn about individual menu commands or dialog controls.
- Click the lightbulb toolbar button or the "What now?" menu command to display list of frequently used actions for your current document.
- Search this web.
- Ask a question on a public discussion board.
Retouching photographs
Supported retouching tasks:
- Adjusting brightness and contrast or if more control is needed, setting black point and white point in a photo and gamma curve.
- Removing the red eye effect.
- Removing objects from photos using the clone tool.
- Smoothing skin using the ALPHA_BRUSH tool.
RealWorld Photos currently does not offer a direct way to significantly alter shapes in a photo.
Batch image processing
There are many useful operations that can be run without user interaction in batch mode, for example: watermarking, creating thumbnails, rotation by EXIF tag, resizing, optimizing for web, etc.
